Malayalam Songs Lyrics initiative (a.k.a MSL) is a non-profit effort, started in 2004 with the mission of making the the lyrics of all those memorable sweet Malayalam songs available to all music lovers freely. The vision is to become the most comprehensive database of all kinds of Malayalam song lyrics such as film songs, devotional, light music. In addition we aim to keep all the meta data associated with the song such as director, singers, film/album name, raga etc.
The site currently contains more than 12,000 songs' lyrics and we intend to aggregate as many lyrics as possible with its associated information.
MSL also serve as platform for singers to upload the cover versions and receive valuable feedback from a wide audience. Other interesting activities for Music admirers include MSL quiz, NurungukaL (tips).
